RxCoverageWatch is a service of RxHealing LLC ("RxHealing," "we," "us"), Fort Wayne, Indiana. This policy explains what information we collect through rxcoveragewatch.com and the RxCoverageWatch pharmacy portal, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account information: the name and email address of pharmacy users who sign in, including information provided by Google or Microsoft when you choose to sign in with those accounts (name, email address and profile picture).
- Pharmacy information: pharmacy name, NPI, address, and the name and title of the person who signs agreements.
- Agreement records: when agreements are accepted, the signer's typed name, email, time, IP address and browser information.
- Billing information: processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
- Patient information: information a pharmacy uploads about its patients, such as names, dates of birth, insurance and contact details. Patient information is handled as protected health information under the Business Associate Agreement with each pharmacy and HIPAA.
- Website inquiries: information you submit through our pilot request form.
How we use information
- To provide the service: sign-in, checking patients' insurance eligibility on the pharmacy's behalf, alerts, and patient outreach the pharmacy requests.
- To bill for the service and keep records of signed agreements.
- To respond to inquiries and support requests.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use patient information for marketing. Information from Google or Microsoft sign-in is used only to identify you and keep your account secure.
How information is shared
We share information only with service providers that help us run RxCoverageWatch, under contracts that protect it, including our hosting and database provider, our healthcare clearinghouse for eligibility checks, our payment processor, and our email and text messaging providers; with health plans, solely to check a patient's coverage for the pharmacy; and when required by law.
Security and retention
Information is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is restricted to authorized users, and each pharmacy can see only its own data. We keep information for as long as the pharmacy's account is active and as required by law or the Business Associate Agreement. [Retention periods to be confirmed by counsel.]
Your choices
Pharmacy users can update their account information or close their account by contacting us. Patients with questions about their information should contact their pharmacy, which controls its patient records.
